SlideShare on LinkedIn and other arenas.

Hi

As we prepare for the launch of Recruitment Community Europe, I am trying out different technology links and ideas.

LinkedIn has announced a wide range of new embedded applications, widgets and other tools. So, I have signed up for SlideShare, added the app to my LinkedIn profile, uploaded a presentation I made earlier this year the the Recruitment Consultant conference and, Hey Presto! there it is on both sites. Now have added the SlideShare badge to my Blog on the RCE site and it links back to the presentation.

So, next step is to see if I can put the badge on this blog.

GRC 2008 - Interactive Media Zone is announced

Hi again

I am really excited about this initiative we have created for the conference.

Interactive Media Zone


GRC 2008 will include a unique interactive media zone in the exhibitor/sponsor hall at the conference. This will provide delegates, speakers and sponsors the opportunity to put their opinions out on the web via their selected channels. All delegate catering and social activities take place in the exhibitor hall.


Audio Interviews


Mike Taylor of Web Based Recruitment will be conducting Audio interviews of delegates, speakers and sponsor/exhibitors throughout the event for posting to his site as well as the RCE site. Naturally available for your use as well.

Bill Vick of Extreme Recruiting will be doing Video interviews of delegates, speakers and sponsor/exhibitors throughout the event for posting to his site, ERE and Fordyce in the US, our site and your site in Europe. Blogging Shack

We will have a dedicated blogging area where delegates, speakers and sponsors will have access to the Internet for posting thoughts about GRC 2008 (or any other topics) direct to RCE blogs, their own sites or any other blogging outlet. Super Bloggers from across Europe will be on hand to provide advice to neophytes as well as posting to their own sites. Bloggers will include Louise Triance and Peter Gold of UK Blogging fame.

New approach to aggregating job content launched

Hi all

Our business partner and long time development friends, Arturo Suarez Martin and Luis Gervaso, have launched a new blog and a new web site service, called Find Jobs In.. This is a beta site, getting ready to be a platform for other technologies such as SEO tools, with a focus towards recruitment.

I am really looking forward to working with them and watching the next generation of tools, such as our website in Holland, Kangarooster, all take shape over the coming months.
